Platform Fair Use Policy (uploads & availability)
We want generous limits for real schools — and strong protection against abuse that could slow the platform for everyone.
Unlimited* uploads (Ultimate plan)
Unlimited* means unlimited file uploads for good-faith educational operations — lesson materials, enrollment documents, announcements, and everyday school workflows — subject to our Platform Fair Use Policy.
- Included: Human-driven uploads from admins, teachers, and students at normal institutional volumes.
- Not permitted: Automated bulk upload floods, script-driven traffic designed to exhaust storage or bandwidth, crypto mining, open proxies, or any pattern resembling a denial-of-service (DDoS) attack.
- Protection: We apply rate limits, anomaly detection, and temporary throttling to protect platform stability. Accounts that violate fair use may be restricted or suspended after review.
- Enterprise needs: If you operate at very high volume, contact us for a custom agreement with explicit throughput guarantees.
Frequently asked questions
How do monthly file upload limits work on FundoPortal?
Each plan includes a maximum number of file uploads per calendar month (each file stored counts once). If you exceed your included allowance, you can purchase additional capacity at $5 USD per million uploads for that month.
What does Unlimited uploads mean on the Ultimate plan?
Unlimited uploads are provided for legitimate educational use under our Platform Fair Use Policy. Normal teaching, enrollment, and administration traffic is included. Automated abuse, bulk flooding, or traffic intended to harm platform availability may be rate-limited or suspended to protect all schools.
Can I use the free trial more than once?
Each school portal receives one 14-day free trial. After that, choose a paid plan or continue on Free Mode with starter limits.
How do I pay for a subscription?
Paid plans can be purchased inside your admin dashboard using Paynow (mobile money and card options, where available).
