Teachers — grading, quizzes, subjects & timetable

Assign teachers to subjects and classes, build timetables, and use the teacher portal to enter grades, quizzes, materials, and attendance on FundoPortal.

Teachers sign in at the teacher portal (/teacher or your school login). They only see classes and subjects assigned to them. Admins configure structure, assignments, and master timetable in the admin dashboard.

Admin: add teachers & assign subjects

  1. Teachers & Staff → Add Staff Member → account type Teacher (teacher portal access, not office staff permissions).
  2. Open the teacher on the roster → subject assignments: link teacher to subject + class group (and form where applicable).
  3. Without an assignment, the teacher cannot enter grades or see that class in their portal.
  4. Organization → Subjects must list every subject you assign.

Admin: timetable & lessons

  1. Organization → Rooms (optional) and Subjects ready.
  2. Timetable tab: create slots — day, period, room, subject, class group, assigned teacher.
  3. Teachers view their personal timetable in the teacher portal schedule view.
  4. Quizzes and materials are tied to subjects/classes the teacher owns via assignment.

Teacher portal: grades & assessments

  1. Teacher portal → Grades: select class/subject/term, enter marks for exams, projects, assignments, presentations, in-class work (weights set at school level).
  2. Grades sync to admin Grades & Exams and student report views.
  3. Organization → Grade scales convert percentages to letter labels on reports.

Teacher portal: quizzes & learning materials

  1. Quizzes — create quiz, attach questions, assign to class; students complete in student portal; teacher reviews submissions.
  2. Materials — upload learning resources linked to subjects; students download/view from their portal.
  3. Attendance — mark daily attendance for assigned classes where your school uses attendance tracking.

Tips

  • Admins can also enter grades under Grades & Exams; teachers usually enter day-to-day marks.
  • See /help/organizations for subjects, classes, and terms before assigning teachers.
